Before the Shoot
I like to get to know my clients on a personal level. I want to begin the shoot as friends—this makes for a more friendly relationship, better pictures, and a better experience in general. I like to work with creative people, so we can bounce ideas off each other; any ideas or requests you may have may bring a creative idea from me. This makes for better and more personalized pictures. In order to bring out your natural beauty, it is essential for me to know any insecurities you have about your looks as well as any features in either your looks or personality you may want to flaunt. I want my clients to have a comfortable, personalized, and friendly experience.
In addition, as I work with children, this time is invaluable for me to get to know your child, especially if he or she has trouble adapting to new faces. I may request to meet with you and your child before the shoot to get to know both of you and make sure your child is comfortable with me. I am extremely flexible in my scheduling, so if your child is having a bad day, don't hesitate to contact me so we can reschedule.

After the Shoot
If you choose to have me retouch your photographs, I will retouch the best pictures from your shoot. I will not make you look like those over-retouched models we've all seen in magazines where their skin looks like ceramic—I will keep your images looking like you, not an alien from Mars.
Watch the slideshow for an example of my retouching. The changes are subtle, but it makes a difference!

After the pictures are ready, I will upload them to a cloud service (I use Dropbox). Depending on the previously agreed image usage terms, these images may have a small watermark. These galleries will stay online for one month, during which you can download them to your own computer. For cosplay shoots that have a set number of photos able to be downloaded, there will be a charge of $15 per photo ordered over the image limit. Image usage restrictions and watermark policies are there for both my protection and yours, and I have a very strict re-editing policy detailed in my contracts. I reserve the right to use any of your best pictures for promotional and advertising purposes and in my online and physical portfolios. I will never sell, display (for example, in an art show) or re-print any of your pictures without your permission.
I reserve the right to use watermarked images on my websites, including deviantART, flickr, tumblr, my portfolios, and this Facebook page. I will not print or sell portraits without the subjects' consent. I respect you, and I expect that you respect me in return; please give me or my company credit when posting on Facebook or any other website. (Tags would be appreciated)
